Designed for mastering virtual studio conditions as either green screen cyclorama or latest xR LED-based volume studios, the EZtrack COMPLETE STUDIO BUNDLE promises real hassle-free installation and unmatched versatility since the system’ setup completion is usually achieved in less than 2 hours from kit unboxing!
Being presented here is our standard “LIGHTHOUSE” infrared-type combo featuring a fully markerless tracking setup with 6DOF camera moves for any kind of cranes, jibs, dollies, sliders, steadicams, and typical handheld/shoulder studio cameras, thus, within a large 100sqm tracking area (up to 10x10m).

 

Featuring fairly limited hardware, our Complete Studio bundle provides:

– x1 EZtrack GEN.2 Hub unit, with V-lock clamp and power adapter

– x4 infrared Lighthouse 2.0 Base Stations with their power adapters
– x3 positional trackers as x1 Miraxyz’ SWAN unit for the camera, and x2 additional Vive 3.0 or Tundra trackers for either live talent or virtual object tracking
– x1 Hirose lens cable provided at choice between Canon, Fujinon, Angénieux, Cooke
– x1 universal mounting kit providing cheeseplates, 15mm rods, and dual clamps

Every EZtrack Hub unit processes positional tracking of one studio camera with one dedicated optic, whatever its type: ENG/EFP Broadcast zoom, Hybrid zoom, Prime.

Complementary to the camera itself, up to 2 additional tracking sources (Freed-compatible PTZs, talents, virtual objects) can also be operated on the same set, in wireless mode, over the Bluetooth LTE standard, thanks to dedicated USB dongles that are provided into the Complete Studio kit.

 

The 3D pose estimation is done using swept angle laser tracking and IMU fusion based on the HTC Lighthouse 2.0 standard as Base Stations emit infrared to dynamically localize trackers within the tracking area.

 

Each base station covers 160° horizontally, 115° vertically, up to 7 meters for infrared signal acquisition. Up to 4 infrared Base Stations can be interfaced to each EZtrack Hub unit, whereas the system is also capable of processing effective tracking over 2 Base Stations only.

 

Regardless of how many cameras are being tracked through the EZtrack Hub, all cameras will share the same set of 4, 3, or 2 Base Stations, thus, depending on the desired configuration.
