EZtrack X VICON COMBINATION FOR XR LED STAGE
January 2025 – Commissioned and installed by our friends at CGangs International, one of our primary integrators in the APAC region, we are proud to have EZtrack being selected by Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) to perform camera tracking duties into their brand-new LED stage! This quite renowned educational institution has recently unveiled its BeyondReality Studio: a one-stop playground of emerging immersive media technologies established in Singapore, the studio being the only one in the city that features a unique 3-in-1 setup of motion capture, green screen, and LED volume virtual production, all under one main studio facility.
Powered by the combination of a cutting edge VICON motion capture cameras setup and our EZtrack Hub which ensures advanced FIZ lens metadata readout with live tracking data recording for post-production pipelines, the whole setup allows the virtual environment to synchronize dynamically with the camera movements.
Skilled students and creative media professionals having the opportunity to work with such a top-notch installation will take advantage of the real-time visualization of virtual sets, as this XR setup has been built to meet latest virtual production standards, and photorealistic rendering based on the Unreal Engine 5 workflow!
