NAB 2024 – EZTRACK / VICON POWERING SONY’S VIRTUAL PRODUCTION STAGE WITH THE ‘EUROPA’ PROJECT

This year again, EZtrack has been greatly featured on stage at the NAB 2024 show in Las Vegas – Sony Pictures Entertainment have enrolled part of our technical team on their astonishing virtual production set as our colleagues have collaborated with the amazing people involved before and during the show, to deliver an exhaustive overview of state-of-the-art production workflows!

Here is a quick digest of what have been brought on floor this year:

– Combination of our EZtrack Hub with a set of latest Vicon mocap cameras, operated respectively with the Shōgun software and the EZtrack live web interface: each EZtrack Hub did aggregate both the live tracking data with the FIZ lens metadata from Sony camera.

– The Sony Japan team demonstrated their awesome technology for multiple cameras switching, these being powered by their newly released SONY VERONA LED panels.

– PIXOMONDO delivered an incredible show in demonstrating the various technologies involved in the ‘Europa’ short movie project – We are inviting you to explore more details in watching the following video: Behind the Scenes of EUROPA
