Export
The fourth part of a calibration is exporting to a render engine.
1. Export to target render engine
1.1. Select target engine
Click on the drop down button at the top and select the target render engine for export.
The available options are currently:
- Aximmetry
- Backdrop
- EZtrack (using TCD protocol)
- Pixotope
- Unreal Engine (using EZtracking plugin)
- Unreal Engine (using vanilla lens plugin)
- Vizrt
- Zero Density Reality Engine
Note
EZtrack export allows loading the lens file in the EZtrack box instead of the render engine. It will send calibrated data directly to the engine instead of raw encoder values using the TCD protocol. The render engine must support TCD input for this to work.
1.2. Click Export Data
This will open up a file browser to save the exported lens profile.
2. You can always come back in EZprofile to fix issues
If you find the lens profile is not good enough, you can improve it, either by taking more points at capture step to avoid guessing with the interpolation, or fixing existing points using the render engine as reference.
See how to check and improve a calibration using a render engine.
